Can’t wait for the Frankfurt motor show to start just to see what showstopper Lamborghini will be showcasing but I sure hope that it will be one insane model.
I’m quite saddened by the last Top Gear review on Lambo’s latest production flagship – the Aventador. Being more composed than the previous models, I’m afraid that Lambo has lost its trademark lunacy.
Lambo announced that the car will be a race-inspired road-car based on the Gallardo. Not too many details have been given just yet but Lambo teased that it will be red. I wonder what Ferrari would say to that.
We’ve seen what Lambo can do with the Gallardo in the guises of the LP550-2 Balboni, the LP570-4 Superleggera and the LP570-4 Spyder and those were just jaw-dropping models (especially the Balboni with that white stripe).
i share your excitement. i just went by the Lambo dealership that in Boni High Street, sadly it has not opened yet.
The Gallardo is one of the best looking sports car to mee and it combines high performance with the safety of AWD. i am hoping they do launch a road legal Super Trofeo version with it’s radical front spoiler and hopefully 630BHP to out muscle the Porsche GT2RS and new McLaren. Now that would be a fittimg send off for Lambrghini’s most successful sports car chassis.
