Ayrton Senna Toleman F1

I grew up in the 90s so as far as sports legends go, I’m more familiar with the Michaels (Jordan and Schumacher). Having had the chance to revisit sporting history, I’ve developed a respect for other legends. For F1, it’s guys like Jimmy Hunt, Nigel Mansel,  Niki Lauda, and of course, Ayrton Senna.

Senna’s been regarded as the driver’s driver with even the great (arguably the greatest) Schumacher saying that Senna’s the best. He dominated F1 in the late 80s and the very early nineties until his tragic fatal crash at Imola during the 1994 San Marino Grand Prix.

The Toleman F1 car – Senna’s very first – is on sale in the UK via Cars International. The TG183B debuted with Senna driving in the 1984 Brazilian Grand Prix.

The car has the original Hart turbocharged engine, even has a spare engine block, and documentation. This is definitely a car fit for a museum so we just hope that it won’t be picked up by some rich playboy. Anything that Senna put his hands on should be treated with respect.
