The world has gone made after the postponed rapture. Just check out this latest bit about Lamborghini. Lambo boss, Stephan Winkelman, announced that the company will be making an “everyday car” as its third model in the production lineup alongside the Gallardo and the Murcielago (which is due to be replaced soon by the Aventador).

This just might be the indication that Porsche will be pushing through with the four-door saloon plan that they unveiled with the four-door Estoque (pictured) that initially was planned to take on the speedy saloon market now occupied by the Maserati Quattroporte, Aston Martin Rapide and the Porsche Panamera.

I just don’t like how they termed this as an “everyday” car. This really goes against the conventional wisdom that supercar marquees such as Lamborghinis should be rare treats – something that the road-going peasantry and serfdoms would be excited about seeing on the road. If people get to see Lambos on a daily basis, it just takes out the wow factor.
