Oh how I wish it’s that easy (and cheap) to travel. The Frankfurt featured this stunning updated Alfa Romeo 4C Concept that we first saw at the Geneva show last March.

Much like the old 8C Competizione, this new car is a breathtaking piece of art. The updated incarnation pretty much retains everything save for this fancy new “Fluid Metal” metallic silver paint – a change from the sexy red job that it had in Geneva.

Alfa will be pushing this concept into production and will go on sale next year. The car packs a 1.7L turbocharged gasoline engine (the same one used in the Giulietta) that will produce more than 200 horses and is mated to a twin dry-clutch gearbox.

0 to 100 kph is dealt with in just five seconds and will go all the way past 250 kph. The engine sits in the middle and with a lightweight construction, we can all hope that this would perform in a more spirited but poised fashion unlike the 8C which was all looks but no bang.
